CCU completed this project with time to spare, (3 hrs), before the 'Limited Too' management team and stock crew arrived to set up the store. After working a 16 hour shift our crew even helped unload the semi trailers full of stock. The bottom line is, CCU Construction will do what it takes to get your store, office, factory or warehouse up and running ... on time and on budget.
The door was damaged after a busy Saturday night, and upon further inspection CCU found a lot of rotted wood in the sill and framing. We repaired all the rot and installed this new door and sidelite ... and , yes, we did have a couple of beers after!
CCU Construction is ready to be your commercial contractor ... we can help get your business up to speed with expansionmaximization of existing space or the cosmetic makeover every business needs to stay current. We are here to help make your business construction hassle free and cost effective!!
At CCU we are proud of our commercial work. Skilled in all phases of commercial construction ... framing, drywall, acoustical ceilings, slat wall, and retail cabinetry/millwork ...we offer our clients services usually only provided by large companies. Most remodeling companies can't make the transition from residential to commercial because of the subtle differences between the two. Before I started CCU I was a commercial framer for 12 years and as you can see,
complex framing, odd shapes and hanging soffits are all in a days work.
CCU will help your business grow with affordable renovations and a minimal interruption to your work schedule.

CCU Construction provided job supervision, layout and framing, drywall, and installation of the millwork and door package. CCU was the sub contractor of IBS, the interior contractor and also worked closely with Enterprise Builders, the General Contractor.
The main focus was on changing the layout of the stage in relationship to the audience. The original layout was typical of the 60's and 70's where the audience looked up to the stage. CCU framed a 50 seat tiered seating area, using heavy gage steel studs and fire rated plywood, which now allows the audience to look down on the performance area.
Under the direction of a sound engineer we built an acoustical wall at the rear of the hall to allow for natural distribution of the sound during the performances.
This business in East Haven was having problems with their elderly and disabled customers getting access to their offices.CCU provided this addition for file storage and a wheelchair ramp.

CCU was a principal sub contractor on the 'Limited Too' fit-up at Buckland Hills Mall. The general contractor, Abeco Corp. from New Jersey was given our name from a previous client when they were looking for a reliable local framer with experience in complicated shapes and hanging soffits.
During the course of the job, the job superintendant became ill and we were asked to take over his duties and supervise the completion of the project.
