This 680 bottle wine cellar was designed by CCU to match the needs of the homeowner, an avid wine collector. It is made from FAS grade mahogany and all pieces are hand milled and hand fitted
Each individual slot has a slight pitch forward to ensure the base of the cork does not dry out. There are no finishes applied to prevent absorbtion of chemical contaminants into the cork.
The room was fitted with a climate control system to provide consistent temperature and humidity.
This rental house was badly damaged after a tenant sneaked out after not paying rent for 6 months. They also left the water on and no oil in the tank in the dead of winter. Pipes burst everywhere and the kitchen was destroyed
Needless to say the landlord was extremely stressed out! CCU was able to remodel the entire kitchen and repair the damage throughout the house. There was a limited budget but we were able to get the house up to par and the owner was able to get it back on the market.

Below, this basement in Berlin was finished with dark paneling and had sustained a little water damage on one end. CCU  removed the damaged areas, cleaned and put new insulation in and then installed drywall over the paneling.
A new laundry room was framed, columns and soffits were wrapped and in some cases reframed. The basement now has a fresh, clean and bright look. The homeowner took over from here with painting and floor finishes but was very appreciative of CCU's help in getting the framing and drywall completed quickly!

We brought this basement from bare to bold! The family was expecting a beautiful new baby girl and needed to make a "baby room" that was closer and safer for their new bundle of joy. CCU made it happen and now mom and dad are less than ten feet from baby!
Acoustical ceilings hide all the pipes, wires, ducts and framing. The basement is one hundred percent functional and liveable and ties seamlessly to the rest of the house. Click to see the homeowners comments and more pictures!

This  home in Glastonbury had that 'Boxed In' feel. The living room, dining room and kitchen existed independently of each other ... CCU formulated a plan to remove multiple walls and open the spaces up to this beautiful, bright space. The fireplace was reinforced and updated to stacked stone, bluestone hearth and a traditional custom mantle. What a difference !
